I love June. It definitely means wedding season has arrived and there are few things I enjoy as much as these occasions. This past weekend I went to a charming little village wedding that was just as quaint as the little area it took place. Simple and sweet.

 There is nothing I love more than a simple dress. The structure of these three are all the same with a short sleeve and mini length. All from Anthropologie. I especially love the cutouts in the Mythography dress from Treasure by Samantha Pleet. It's sunny and keeps it playful.

I've been working real hard on something. I've kept it mostly to myself, only sharing my ideas and dreams with those very close and dear to me. You see, it isn't always easy for me to be share freely. I can be easily discouraged. I need to work on that, I know. I will never be an open book, but I can open up a little bit. I think you know how it is though. You can get going on something and all these possibilities suddenly seem so possible. All seems to be on the right track, things are going well, people are encouraging,...then one person isn't, and all you feel is discouraged, defeated, silly for thinking such a thing in the first place. And so it goes. I'm saying, DO IT ANYWAY.

Well, this has taken A LOT of work. I had A LOT to learn, but I feel real good about. I feel real excited about it. I feel like this is right. I have focused on the positive and pushed away the rest. I've thought, I've prayed and I've prayed. I know this is what I would like to do.

I didn't start traveling because anyone told me to. I went on my own. I took my first trip abroad by myself and made some of my best friends that I have today. I didn't think I was creative until anyone told me so, that I have "an eye".  I just would put things together that I thought were lovely. When you put the two together, I have a passion. A passion for beauty. A passion for discovering beautiful things.
