There are few things that make me as happy as ballet. I can't narrow it down to one aspect, it's everything about it that I love. This clutch come close though! I adore the graceful ballerinas on here every time I take it out and use it. It's one of the pieces I never tire of. How appropriate to pair with ballet flats? Now if only I were off to a performance...

Well this weekend could not have been more beautiful for March. It got in the 80's! It was fantastic. My brother's party went fabulously well, if I do say so myself. Everyone had a great time and with the nice weather we could even bring the mingling to the outdoors which was nice to enjoy. My Sunday weekend continued on nicely to a lovely outdoor brunch with one of my best friends I had not seen in way too long. It felt so nice to be reunited again. I am so anxious now for summer, BBQs and boating I can hardly wait. I hope you all had a nice weekend and maybe enjoyed some St. Patty's day festivities!

Another perfect day! This week has flown by. I can't believe Friday is here. I had a fantastic night at a Le Vian jewelry showcase, so many beautiful pieces! Now the weekend is just about here and my preparation for my brother's 30th birthday party I'm throwing in his new house is all coming together. I hope everything goes well. I'll be running around like crazy today to make sure everything is decorated perfectly and all the final touches will be ready for tomorrow night! Happy Friday everyone!

It was in the 70's today! The weather has been unbelievable. I cannot get enough of it. Henrik is loving his walks. I mixed some bright pink with a flouncy polka dot skirt to go with my wonderful mood. I loved the extra touch of the spring time flower pin.

Unforgettable travels of the world together

This post is a special one to send my brother all the best wishes possible today on his birthday. Being the younger sister, I don't think I could have gotten any luckier with having him as my only sibling. He's not only a role model, but also a dear friend and confidant. On this roller coaster we call life, we've been through it all together. I'm so fortunate we have remained so close into our later years. While he's gone on getting married and having kids, he's always kept time for his little ole sister. So before I go getting too gushy and sentimental, here's to you - my big brother, my friend - may your 30th bring you the best yet. You deserve it all and more.

 

My brother's wedding was in a castle and I teased he should and would have fireworks, SURPRISE, he did! He can really make anything happen when he starts setting his mind to it. :)

I was in a bit of a hurry and didn't display my coat very nicely for this picture, but normally it lays very lovely, I promise! Anyways, it was a beautiful weekend full of sun. Henrik didn't like his walk as much with the wind on Saturday, it was quite blustery. I had a nice weekend we spent with friends dining and just relaxing. I have an extremely busy week ahead so it was a perfect way to spend it. How were your weekends?

The sun is shining and it feels like spring is in the air. Yesterday we had some fabulous weather. The temperature has dropped somewhat again for today, but the sun has remained. It's amazing how good a little bit of sunshine can feel this time of year. Today I mixed stripes with some patterns on my scarf blazer.
